PRIEST
- Divine Spirit – this spell is now a core ability available to all priests.
- Discipline has access to a new talent, Power Word: Barrier. (Think of it as Power Word: Shield for your whole group).
- Several area of effect (AOE) heal spells have been improved: Prayer of Healing can be cast on any groups in your raid party. Holy Nova’s mana cost has been reduced. Circle of Healing now heals for more.
- Shadow priest PvP survivability has been improved: Shadow Form now reduces magic as well as physical damage. Dispersion now removes snares.
- Penance – this spell can now be targeted on the priest.
- Serendipity – this talent now reduces the cast time of Greater Heal and Prayer of Healing when Binding Heal or Flash Heal are cast.
- We are also working to give Holy additional PvP utility.

Those changes are rather meh. I do like the decreased magic damage taken with shadowform though. Divine spirit is nice too I guess but all in all, meh.

Waiting to see the uber new damage buffs / changes mages, locks, and hunters will get so I can further regret not rolling a "pure" dps class.

Disc is the best pvp spec for a priest at the moment. And they just made it even better. Shadow is the worst pvp spec for a priest at the moment. And they really didn't change that fact at all.

I must say this was the worst changes I've seen so far regarding shadow. They actually solved the shadow PVP with killing it completely so nobody would ever want to be one in arena.

Actually if those are the pvp buffs supposed to be good enough to keep us quiet and civilized until 3.1 hits I believe they are.

Maybe shadow form will reduce magic and melee damage by 50%?
If not, I don't understand... This would be humiliating.

We only listed a handful of things we are working on as a preview. We didn't think "dependable shadow fiend" was worth making that list since it is mostly just making something work that is supposed to work.

So it seems there is hope for more changes, hopefully something meaningful for shadows. Though I hope shadowfiend will still be able to do damage, it was my second "nuke" button next to IF!


I wonder how long will shadowform tooltip be after 3.1 ....

can't deny i like the DS baseline thing. But the "pvp-improvement" is just a poke in the eye.

The saddest part of the changes is that 95% of all the replies (from priests) are happy with the "PRIEST CHANGES", since well, most seem to play a healer. So yet again, PRIESTS are happy with the changes, even though they ONLY focused on parts that we are actually quite good at already.

Im fokin sure they are happy ... if I see those changes from a pvp discipline priest POV the buff is not big, it is enormous. And it wasnt expected because Blizz already said that was satisfied with discipline pvp spec.
Anyway ... Blizz cant be that stupid cmon... LF more changes in next days

Only problem for discs is their healing scaling still sucks compared to holy.
