Thanks to our new owners here, ZizZero Pty, who currently run wow-achievements.com as well as some other gaming websites, we have come into possession of 5 beta keys to give out to members of our community.

Now, because of the rare nature of Beta Keys, we can't obviously just give them to anyone, as I'm sure you all can understand. As a result, people who want a key will have to submit an application of sorts. So, if you are interested in getting one of these beta keys, submit your application via PM to either myself, hoho, or kfc. Only moderators will be able to see the applications. Only applications submitted via PMs will be accepted.

Why you would be a good candidate for a beta key:

The most important of the 2 questions are the last two. The first 6 are to just kind of gather information, but most of our determination as to who will get a key will be based on the final 2 questions.

There will only be a limited amount of time this will be available, but we will let everyone know when there is 1 week left to submit applications.

We've received a bunch of PMs to date, and we'd love to hear from more members who'd like to get into the beta, so keep em comin.

We've decided to cut short the amount of time till we close the application period for the Beta keys, because we want the people who are going to get the keys to have as much time in the Beta fiddling with things as possible.

So, the Beta key application period will officially end at 11:59, GMT on Friday August 6. After that time, any beta key applications we receive will be declined, and we'll begin to go over them. I'd expect the review process to take no more than a few days, 3-4 at the most, so look for the announcement of the winners sometime in the middle of next week. We'll keep you informed of the process, but we've had a fair number of applicants, and only 5 beta keys, so if you don't get picked, it's not because we don't like you, it's just cause we like other people better, and they've sent in naked pictures of themselves mud wrestling while taking jello shots off Angelina Jolie and Megan Fox*.

*Note, any actual pictures of some one mudwrestling while taking jello shots off Angelina Jolie and Megan Fox will be considered highly awesome and may or may not result in an internet high five, but you will be banned and prosecuted for attempted bribery. Ok, my condolences to those expecting this to be the announcement of the winners, sadly it's not, however it is an update.

I know I said that winners would be announced this weekend, unfortunately I've been feeling like trash the last week basically, so I haven't had the time nor inclination to go over many of the applications. I have gone over some and narrowed the list partially, so expect winners by tomorrow or Thursday.

As work day is nearly over in Europe I thought now would be good time to publish the winners

Unfortunately Gilthresa is gone without a trace so I had to decide the winners all by myself. There was almost 50 applications in total. At first I chose around 10 people, when I started narrowing it down it came to only 3. Deciding who would be the last two was pretty hard. End result was that keys will be given to following people (in no particular order):
Harb_ID, badpriest_lol, Nuit, blackmorgrim and Squinky

I've sent all the keys to those people. If any of them is from US/Oceania I hope they won't skip school/work for the beta
