Trust get 4set t10, maraudins spyglass, should be sorted to 7-8k going by the rest of your gear in 10 mans. you got couple of bits of gear i'm very jelouse of.

First of all check the Best Raid Gear Thread for gemchoises, i atleast see a spellpower-stamina gem, which doesn't belong in your gear. Also check when to go for socket bonusses etc.

Atm you are at 369 hitrating, while you only need 289. Try to lower it by getting other stats, a suggestion might be Tuskarr's Vitality on boots. This will definitely improve your dps. Get rid of the battlemaster trinket and pug whatever you can to atleast get your trinkets improved, they hold you back alot. Furthermore it's all about your spellcue-ing and keeping up your dots, movement (minimalize it to the ABSOLUTE neccecary movement) and try to always cast something that hurts something, even when moving (when you move, use SW:D and spam DP if it's a longer walk, it's still better then just letting your dots tick and do nothing), normally with raidbuffs with just spamming DP (the initial damage) you could already pull 3-3.5k DPS instead of nothing when you move.

*My gearscore is nearly 5k, but I do a horribly pathetic 2.5k DPS on even just the dummies in SW. No way that I can get into decent raids like such.

Im not an expert at gear checking but here are the things i would change. First off you need to get to hit cap which is 289 as people have been talking about earlier. I would also try and find some gear to increase spell power cause without giving up crit.
Another thing i would do is read the geming guide in the other forum about how to increase dps. I hope this helps.

I know i'm way above the hit cap but i'm not sure how to get it down. Any gear suggestions would be highly appreciated. Secondly I know i'm not maximized with my gems and do plan on doing it once i get a more stable gear set instead of one that changes all the time.

My dps in 5 mans usually averages around 3k. While in raids with buffs and other i can do about alittle under 4k. I still feel that i could be doing more Any tips/hints would be greatly appreciated.

Over hit capped. Around 289 hit rating is where undead spriests should aim for. If you can get a Battered Hilt, get the caster mace and try to get your hands on the Shriveled Heart from H HoR. These two would replace the staff and give you a decent dps boost. And put that excess hit rating to good use elsewhere.

Epic gems are cheap these days. Check the best 3.3 raid gear list post for gems. Never seen a spriest gem for mp5.

For enchants, +10 to chest.

Trinkets: Farm for the Abyssal Rune. To replace the Intl trinket.

Glyphs: I'd swap the Dispersion glyph with the SW:Pain Glyph. It's gonna help with mana regen.

Im aiming for Mag'hari Chieftain's Staff. But the staff never drops.

I don't feel good with my current dps. Feel like I'm letting the team down. And they're nice folks.

The part about the hit cap, that's my problem. I'm not really sure what I should gear myself with to increase hit cap. Almost none of the gear I find has hit rating. Could just be that I'm looking in the wrong places, but...

I will be chanting and gemming my staff tonight and i was originally a disc priest hence why some of my gems are sp/int which I will be changing to sp/haste. what t10 piece should I buy next with my EoF? I will hold off on the gloves hoping to get them in VoA and then possibly get either the shoulders or headpiece depending if i get lucky with any drops in icc soon!

Pulling about 12k dps single target, was wondering if I should be doing 13 - 14k in ICC

I must admit that I am not sure I am doing anything right at this point. I want to do decent DPS when I go on PUG runs. But right now, according to Omen and Recount, I kinda suck. Please help me out. I know that my sockets could be better. The ones I have were free from guild bank, so I just went with them.

Current spell rotation is: VT, SW:P, MB, DP, MF

Any recommendations on addons that will help me keep dots up once initial rotation is through?

Hi all

Just getting started with ICC 10 and 25 so many of u guys would call me a noob. ATM I'm doing 5,8K on dummy. I'm highly overcapped on hit but need a little more hit before replacing my hit-trinket. Thinking of replacing head and shouldes with T10-gear just need a little more "frosties"
But I really would love you guys to make a comment.
